Links to Embed in email, on your web site, or in QR Codes

The graphic should be linked to a URL such as a "universal" link or an iOS (iPhone, iPod touch or iPad) link.

The "universal link" will work on all smartphones using the built-in mobile browser. Javascript enabled browsers work best. For example, on an iOS device such as the iPhone, iPod touch the "universal" link will run your survey using Safari. On other mobile devices, such as Android and BlackBerry, the survey will use the devices built-in browser, and on the web the survey will be displayed in your default browser, such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari or Chrome.

where xxxxxx is your survey code (this can be seen by clicking the "test" button in the SURVEY tab)

This link will run the survey in the previously loaded iOS SURVEY ON THE SPOT app, or to run the survey on the browser on any mobile phone, including iOS, Android and Blackberry.

QR Codes

We make it easy for you to create a QR code that will start your survey. Simply click on the DETAILS button next to your survey and there is a link to click to generate a QR code. If you prefer to use an off-site tool to generate a QR code, we suggest using http://qrcode.kaywa.com/

In order to determine the correct URL to start your survey, click the DETAILS button next to the desired survey on the survey list available from the SURVEYS tab. Right-click and copy the appropriate link, and paste this into the field on the QR Code generator of your choice. Be sure to test the QR code before printing out your promotional materials or including on your web site!

Embedding surveys on your own website

It is possible to embed a survey directly into your website using the Survey On The Spot iframe support. In order to do this, you will need the Survey Code for the survey you would like to embed - this code can be found by clicking the Details button on the Surveys tab when logged into your account. You may use either the 5-character code to allow users to enter their address and choose a location, or you may use the full Survey Code for a specific location (listed in the table on the Details popout).

The HTML code necessary to embed a survey looks as follows:

Replace "xxxxxx" with your Survey Code. The height may be changed as necessary to fit into your website.

Optional: If you would like the survey to be repeated and restart after each submission please add "?repeat" after the survey code. It would look like this:
